Information from Cumbria Ambulance Service

Due to the ongoing situation within Carlisle, especially the demands on the Ambulance Service and the locations of actual or potentially displaced people, Cumbria Ambulance Service NHS Trust will not be providing non-essential patient transport services to patients within Carlisle or to those persons attending at hospitals within Carlisle for physiotherapy, outpatient clinics etc.

Unless you hear directly from the ambulance service to the contrary, transport will not be provided.

This decision has been taken to ensure the continued provision of essential services.
