GP Web-based Immunisation Feedback
- Welcome to this pilot project.
Each practice has its own password-protected page containing
the practice feedback in comparison to other practices in the
PCT.
- At present, we have data for
practices in the former Chorley and South Ribble, Fylde, Preston
and West Lancashire PCTs. When we have data for all practices,
we will reorganise the site to reflect new PCT boundaries.
- If you have mislaid your password,
please phone 01772 842101. Practice details do change over time
- if we have incorrect details for your practice, please also
let us know on the same phone number.
- You can email us at candlhpu@hpa.org.uk
Each practice's page contains
4 spreadsheets:
- D3 uptake (ie children who have completed their
primary course of Paediacel by the age of 2 years)
- MMR1 MMR 1st Dose (ie children who have had 1 dose
of MMR by the age of 2 years)
- PSB Pre-School Booster (ie children who have received
Repevax by the age of 5 years)
- MMR2 MMR 2nd Dose (ie children who have received
2 doses of MMR by the age of 5 years)
Currently we have data for 2005-2006.
Any comments would be appreciated.
"Health warning"
The immunisation uptake figures
presented here are based on information submitted by the Practice
to the Child Health Computer system of the PCT. It is possible
that the figures may differ slightly from figures produced by
the Practice computer system. The main reasons for this are likely
to be:
- The PCT may not have information
on all vaccinations given. Please remember - the PCT figures
are only as accurate as the information given to them by the
Practice.
- The PCT figures depend on
vaccinations being given before the child is 2yrs old as required
by the Department of Health. Vaccinations given after this are
excluded.
- The PCT may not know about
children who have recently joined or left the Practice.
If the Practice figures differ
from those of the PCT, it is a good opportunity to audit the reasons
for this.
When looking at the figures please bear in mind that even one
or two missed vaccinations can have a large impact on percentage
figures in small Practices. Also the figures do not include children
who have received single vaccines, unless the PCT have been given
this information.
If you have any queries or comments about the figures then please
contact us.
